This morning, Tyler and I walked our son Jack to his first day of kindergarten at Sylvan Park Elementary - the same place where I'll be casting my vote tomorrow morning. It was a good reminder that all of us count on our government to actually work for our families and our community.
It's time to put aside the constant fighting and gamesmanship in our state legislature. We must address the challenges that really matter. It's not enough to change the conversation; we have to change the outcomes in our state legislature.
